„WORKING TOGETHER FOR A GREEN, COMPETITIVE AND INCLUSIVE EUROPE“
The name of the project corresponds to the project HraMoKa – Restoration of Baroque halls at the Blue Stone Castle for puppet theater, regional history and creative workshops for children and youth, which was successfully implemented in the period 2015 – 2017 from EEA and Norway Grants and the Slovak state budget. The inaccessible spaces of the eastern wing of the Baroque manor house, its facades and external windows and doors were restored. The goals of the project were successfully fulfilled. The current HraMoKaPlus project will be another added value in the restoration of the national cultural monument, which is the first in its modern history. Therefore, the support of the EEA Grants in the Culture Program is invaluable. The aim of the project is to restore the cultural heritage – the northern wing of the Baroque mansion, in order to provide visitors with the currently unused space and offer activities and services in the historic interior for the local community. The north wing of the manor will get its original look and new creative, relaxing and representative spaces. The artistic creation of the puppet theater and the handicraft production of the Kyjatic wooden toy will be the aim of educating young puppeteers and carvers, presenting their significance and the production process to visitors of all ages, especially for children and young people. Part of the project is the opening of the "Castanea" patisserie. It offers traditional regional confectionery made from chestnuts from the castle and town chestnut trees. It will also serve as a cultural space with social facilities for various purposes and activities, such as discussions, concerts, meetings, lectures, exhibition openings, the sale of works of art and public reading of books. |

The three donor countries cooperate closely with the EU through the Agreement on the European Economic Area (EEA). The donors have provided €3.3 billion through consecutive grant schemes between 1994 and 2014. For the period 2014-2021, the EEA and Norway Grants amount to €2.8 billion.
The priorities for this period are: #1 Innovation, Research, Education and Competitiveness #2 Social Inclusion, Youth Employment and Poverty Reduction #3 Environment, Energy, Climate Change and Low Carbon Economy #4 Culture, Civil Society, Good Governance and Fundamental Rights #5 Justice and Home Affairs Eligibility for the Grants mirror the criteria set for the EU Cohesion Fund aimed at member countries where the Gross National Income (GNI) per inhabitant is less than 90% of the EU average.
