During the second Saturday in February, the premises of the craft workshop at Blue Stone Castle were fragrant with honey and sweet spices. Ľubica Rumpliová introduced those interested to the art of gingerbread decorating. Under the supervision of an experienced local gingerbread maker, visitors to the craft workshop tried different ways of decorating gingerbread with hand-whipped icing. Ľubica Rumpliová has been decorating gingerbread for more than 20 years. She showed us her tried and tested tips on how to mix and apply the egg white icing and glaze correctly. | ||
