In the Baroque hall of the Blue Stone Castle, on 10 April 2024 in the afternoon, a lecture by the well-known Slovak ethnologist and historian PhDr. Katarína Nádeská, PhD. was held. The author of the presentation is devoted to the study of folk culture, traditions, customs and history of everyday life on a national level, which she also popularises to the general public. During her lecture, she introduced the visitors to traditional spring customs and work. Participants of the lecture also learned about what kinds of agrarian magic were associated with the spring work of peasants, what different things were connected with driving the sheep to the shepherd's hut, or where the idea of taking out the Morena comes from. Visitors left enriched with new knowledge about the past of Slovak culture.
